Make Life an Adventure

The journey has begun! You got the welcome message. Now it’s time to address some important values and what it all means.

Bro, Go Travel! is the name of the site and “Make Life an Adventure” is the idea behind it.

“Bro” is short for brother. That’s how many of my friends, family and I address one another. For the purpose of this site, “Bro” is me and “Travel” is my adventure!

Whoever you are and whatever undertakings you believe make your life remarkable, exciting and worthwhile, that’s your adventure. Go and pursue it! “Make Life an Adventure” supports the idea of making life adventurous, purposeful, and memorable by promoting the following values:

Authenticity

Live and allow your own experiences to bring you fulfillment and occasional dissatisfaction. Let your own thoughts shape who you are and how you feel about yourself. Remember, to live is to grow. If you ever get to a point where you’re not satisfied with who you are, don’t be afraid to change. Change the music you listen to so that it’s in tune with who you are. Become the actor and director of your own script. Don’t be afraid to let the world know who you truly are.

Enterprise

The goals we set don’t come to fruition because we expect to achieve them. Be proactive. Put in the time and effort to achieve personal, professional and spiritual goals. Take initiative, be resilient and determined, and always carry the right attitude. These qualities are intrinsically developed through constant application.

Growth

Life will pass by whether a person lives a cautious hundred year life or a daring forty year adventure. It’s not important how long a person lives; what matters most is how a person lives. While playing it safe may avoid some hardship and misfortune, it’ll never allow a person to get anywhere near achieving self actualization. Therefore, take risks, confront adversity, challenge fears and become extraordinary.

Inspire

Don’t just aspire to become an extraordinary person, inspire to positively impact the people and environment around you. The impact we have on the lives of others is one of the reasons we live. It’s the stamps that we leave on the world. As the old proverb goes, “When you were born, you cried, and the world rejoiced. Live your life in such a manner that when you die, the world cries and you rejoice.”
